Charterhouse Masterplan

Completion: 2017
Location: Surrey

Charterhouse is the epitome of the great Victorian Public School, with magnificent Gothic buildings surrounded by playing fields and parkland. The school wishes to expand and become fully co-educational, but change is not easy in a school with great traditions and many listed buildings. Tim Ronalds Architects was selected to work with the school to establish what was needed and devise a masterplan for the physical development of the school. The plan involves both new buildings and adaptation of historic buildings to improve academic, administration and boarding facilities.
